Original language description
Authors of this article really appreciate readers' interest, numerous comments and questions regarding our article "Osmium absorption after osmium tetroxide skin and eye exposure" . We would like to respond to them in this current letter. Our patient, a 32-year-old female researcher, was stained by 9 ml of 2% osmium tetroxide (OsO(4) ) in acetone during an accident in a biological laboratory in January 2019. We published a case report of a rare exposure with ocular, dermal and laboratory findings associated with the exposure, leading to several unsolved questions.
