Original language description
Formely, 7-MEOTA was investigated as promising tacrine analogue beneficial for its low toxicicity compared to tacrine. In this study bis-alkylene linked 7-MEOTA derivatives were prepared from 7-MEOTA and corresponding diiodoalkanes. The novel compounds exhibit anticholinesterase (anti-AChE nad anti-BChE) activity in vitro.
