From the tubers of Corydalis cava have been isolated 15 isoquinoline alkaloids. All compounds were tested for their acetylcholinesterase and butyrylcholinesterase inhibition activity. The best activities have been demonstrated by canadaline, canadine andcorycavidine. Other isolated compounds were considered inactive.
