The retention behaviour of polar compounds on zirconia based stationary phases under hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography conditions
Original language description
The retention behavior of the selected polar compounds on two zirconia-based stationary phases was systematically studied in hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC). The retention characteristics were compared with these obtained for bare silica. This study demonstrated the potential of the zirconia-based stationary phases as alternatives to silica-based columns for the analysis of polar compound in HILIC.
