The Relationship between the Volatality of Respondents' Ratings and Team Performance
Original language description
We analysed group dynamics factors, such as communication and cooperation, of two crews participating in 2-week isolations simulating a stay on Mars. The method of sociomapping was used with the aim to provide feedback to the two crews on the group dynamics factors. The design of the present study did not allow to assess whether providing feedback improves team performance and atmosphere. In addition, the present study aimed to identify those aspects of sociomapping which can be examined in order to learn whether the situation in a team is really free of personal issues as the sociomaps illustrate because respondents' answers might be deliberately biased. Based on the present findings, the volatility of respondent's ratings between administrations andcorrelations between sociomapped factors are the aspects of sociomapping that could be examined with regard to this issue.
