Original language description
The aim of the chapter is to examine a corpus of neglected texts that might bring closer to understanding relationship between Old Tibetan ritual traditions and the monastic traditions of Bon. The three versions of the corpus of texts entitled the Nyen Collection (Gnyan 'bum) are introduced. The core of these texts point to an area of Eastern Tibet, south of Machen Pomra Range. One of the myths contained therein is translated at the conclusion of the paper.
