Original language description
Study aims to determine the concept of a region and to shortly charachterize the development of the regional issue in the Czechoslovak historiography of economic history. As main characteristics of a region were formulated compacted territory, shareablefate, cultural connection of its members and above all regional notification. The study shows that regional research is important part of the Czech economic history - in the sense of regional research centres as well as regional issues.
