Policy analysis in the central government
Original language description
The aim of this chapter is to describe and compare policy analysis in central governments in different jurisdictions. First, we provide overview of policy analysis in four central governments: Australia, Canada, Germany and the Netherlands. The aim of this part is to provide the reader with an empirical understanding of the variety of policy analysis in central government. In the second part of the chapter we strive to provide a tentative comparison between the four countries. We conclude with some implications for both theory building and empirical research.
