The stereological method using "local vertical windows" was adapted for estimating thylakoid surface area in the chloroplast volume and thus obtained surface density results were compared with those of conventional volume density measurements.

Přizpůsobili jsme metodu "local vertical windows" pro stanovení povrchové hustoty thylakoidů v jednotce objemu chloroplastu a porovnali výsledky s konvenčními výsledky měření objemové hustoty thylakoidů.
