Amino acids binding to Zn2+-cyclen molecular receptor in aqueous solution
Original language description
Amino acids are binded to the [ZnL](2+)-complex (L = cyclen). Stability of the [ZnL(HLn)](2+) and [ZnL(L-n)](+) ternary complexes and their coordination modes were determined. The investigation indicates bidentate binding of the deprotonated amino acidsthrough amine and carboxylate functions.
