Original language description
The paper contains the results of study, which are a part of project focused on research of skills of pupils/students in science subjects at the beginning of implementation of curricular reform in the Czech Republic. This research has two main aims. Thefirst one is, on the basis of results of multilevel skills analysis in terms of intended, implemented and achieved curriculum, to propose a structured and interconnected system of skills to be acquired by pupils/students in biology teaching at elementaryand grammar schools. A starting point for the proposed system of skills became the inquiry-based science education (IBSE). The second aim is to verify the extent and conditions of acquisition of the selected skills at different school levels
