Original language description
The students bring from their everyday lives a lot of personal experiences and ideas. These ideas about various concepts and topics can sometines be wrong. In the course of teaching, students are affected not only by techers, but also by student's ideas and experiences that students bring from their surroundings. The contribution deals with the problem of misconceptions at 8th grade primery school students in selected aspects inorganic chemistry.The most common research methods used for diagnosing misconceptions and preconceptions are the main content of the contribution (for example three-tier didactic test, questionnaires, interwievs or analysis of student's drawing). Research part of the contribution contains the results of a pilot study.The aim of the pilot study is mapping the most commnon misconceptions associated with oxygen.
