We consider the wave equation in a bounded 2 or 3d domain, where the damping and the lower-order nonlinearity are polynomial functions of certain growth. We estimate the dimension of the exponential attractor explicitly in terms of the data of the equation.

Czech description
Uvažujeme vlnovou rovnici v omezené 2 nebo 3d oblasti. Tlumení a nelinearita nižšího řádu jsou funkce s polynomiálním růstem. Odhadujeme dimenzi exponenciálního atraktoru explicitně v závislosti na datech rovnice.
