The randomized integer convex hull

For a sufficiently round convex body K in the d-dimensional space, we investigate the expected number of vertices of the convex hull of the intersection of K with a randomly rotated and translated copy of the integer lattice. For the planar case we alsoinvestigate the missed volume (the volume of K minus the convex hull).

Czech description

Pro dostatečně oblé konvexní těleso K v d-dimenzionálním space vyšetřujeme střední hodnotu počtu vrcholů průniku K s náhodně posunutou a otočenou celočíselnou mřížkou. Pro rovinný případ zkoumáme také vynechaný objem (objem K minus zmíněný konvexní obal).
