Paraxial ray methods in inhomogeneous anisotropic media: Initial conditions
Original language description
The initial conditions for the dynamic ray tracing system in Cartesian coordinates are derived, for rays initiated at three types of initial manifolds given in a three-dimensional media: 1) curved surfaces (surface sources), 2) isolated points (point sources), 3) curved, planar and non-planar lines (line sources).
