    Geometric Hermite subdivision scheme for G^1 continuous spatial curves

  • Original language description

    In this paper, we propose interpolatory Hermite subdivision scheme for generating spatial subdivision curves. The initial data are sequence of points and associated (unit) tangent vectors. The newly generated point lies inside a certain tetrahedron whichis formed by the given Hermite data. The main properties are that the scheme preserves planar data, i.e., planar subdivision curves are generated for planar initial Hermite data and, moreover, the scheme is circle-preserving.
