Original language description
For a standard model of molecular bridge, the non-equilibrium electron Green's function describing fast transients is obtained using the method of time partitioning. The correlated initial condition at a finite inital time is fully incorporated. The transients are induced by a sequence of independent sudden switching on/off of each of the contacts to the leads.
