The thesis focuses on the reception of the book Transport Beyond Eternity by upper primary school students, addressing the theme of the Shoah. The main aim is to create methodical suggestions and worksheets to explore the reception of this book. The theoretical part examines the teaching of literary education within the framework of the 2023 RVP ZV curriculum and the Shoah, describes reading strategies and methods for working with excerpts, including the three-phase E-U-R teaching model, and outlines the historical context of the Shoah with a focus on Terezín. The practical part includes an analysis of the book and four methodical suggestions. The final part of the thesis focuses on qualitative research using the method of focus groups.
