The influence of a ten-day stay at high altitude on athletes? training effectivity and selected biochemical indicators
Original language description
This article describes the influence of a 10-day stay and training in high altitude areas (1850m above sea level) on biochemical parameters and morning pulse rate. Our pilot examination with a group of sportsmen (n=10) has shown positive effects of a 10-day training camp in high altitude areas on monitored parameters. In practice, the results can be made use of for instance in ski mountaineering, alpine touring and mountaineering.
