The chapter summarizes the content of the debate in the conference Camp. The aim of Camp is to introduce the issues of digital objects in the academic sphere and the tasks associated with their long-term preservation. The management of digital objects in this world is very specific, due in particular to the special use of these objects and the circumstances of their origin. There are objects from everyday life of institutions as well as from the scientific fields. Individual papers present challenges regarding ditigal data management in the Charles University and the Academy of Sciences.
