The role of 5-HT1A receptor in methamphetamine dependence in rats
Original language description
The effects of the 5-HT1A ligands on methamphetamine (METH) i.v. self-administration were measured in the present study. The outcome of presented work is that the plasticity of 5-HT1A receptor subtype plays a less important role for the conditioned reward responding to METH i.v. self-administration comparing to our earlier experimental experience with pharmacological agonistic manipulation of the 5-HT1B receptor.
