Baroreflex sensitivity and 0.1Hz variability in circulation during excercise. Abstract.
Original language description
Inter-beat intervals and systolic blood pressure (SB) were recorded beat-to-beat (IBI)in 228 healthy children in rest and in 38 subjects at rest and during excercise. At rest, a negative correlation was found between BRS and the amplitude of 0.1 Hz spectral component in SBP, but a positive correlation between BRS and the amplitude of 0.1 Hz component in IBI in both, children and adults. During excercise, BRS and the 0.1 Hz component in the spectrum of IBI decreased.
