Interleukin-18 gene promoter polymorphisms and IgE-mediated allergy in Czech population

  • Original language description

Here we present no direct association of the -607C/A and -137G/C polymorphisms in the IL-18 gene promoter with IgE-mediated allergic diseases or total IgE serum level in the Czech population. However, -607A allele was significantly associated positive skin prick test reactivity to Alternaria.
