Original language name
Genome differences and detection of pathogenic Treponema pallidum subspecies
Original language description
No extensive differences in genome structure between pallidum and pertenue subspecies including deletions and multiplications of genes using DNA microarray technology have been found. Sequencing showed no deletions and insertions of nucleotides (no ORF shifts). One can predict, that pallidum and pertenue genomes differ in one nucleotide per every 1640 bps (altogether in 700 nts).

Czech description
Byly zjišťovány rozdíly v genomech patogenních poddruhů Treponema pallidum. Genomy Treponema pallidum ssp. pallidum a pertenue se liší jedním nukleotidem na 1640 párů bází (celkem asi 700 nts párů bází ).
