    Surgery of the extracranial vascular bed involves in the first line surgery of the carotid arteries. It is difficult to separate the problems of surgery of the other arteries from the carotid surgery.This study focuses on carotid surgery as well. Cerebral stroke, however, is much more frequently based on embolization from the area of stenosis than on the hemodynamic influence of the stenosis alone.
