Highlighted topics encompass the biomedical utilization of near-infrared spectroscopy, ranging from cancer diagnosis to detection of diseases and wounds. Special emphasis is placed on the role of near-infrared spectroscopy in ensuring medicinal quality and combating counterfeit medications, with insights into its advantages for low-cost systems in developing countries. Finally, the article explores near-infrared spectroscopy's role in analyzing natural medicines and presenting a holistic perspective on its diverse applications.
