The Curricular Reform in Czech Schools. Sustainable Change?
Original language description
The paper focuses on one of the major changes in Czech basic schools, implemented during the past 5 to 7 years, namely the launch of the curricular reform. We will be primarily concerned with headteachers role in this process, specifically with the response of basic school headteachers to the requirement for developing a new curriculum in each school. We will use our findings to formulate the principles of sustainability of this change in the context of basic school development.
