To refer to the cross-fertilization of these two disciplines (English and American Studies and women?s and gender studies), we employ a specific term ?Anglicist women?s and gender studies?, where the term ?Anglicist? is understood as stemming from a strong philological orientation of English and American studiesin the Czech Republic.
