The chapter presents the results of archaeological and geophysical research conducted at the site of the former Nazi prison camp at Svatava in western Bohemia. The camp, established as a subcamp within the network of forced labour and concentration camps operating in the region during the Second World War, functioned as part of the broader system connected to KZ Flossenbürg. The research combined non-invasive geophysical prospection— ground-penetrating radar—with targeted archaeological excavation. Geophysical survey enabled the identification of subsurface remains of camp infrastructure, including building foundations and other structural features. These results guided subsequent archaeological investigations, which provided additional information on the layout, construction, and preservation of the camp structures. The integrated methodological approach demonstrates the potential of combining non-destructive survey with excavation in the study of modern conflict and repression landscapes, contributing to a better understanding of the material remains of Nazi camp systems in Central Europe.
