The workshop aimed to put together experts from several countries and disciplines, focusing on fragmented and damaged sources of Latin Europe from the 13th to the 15th century. It was restricted specifically to diplomatic documents (charters, correspondence, official books etc.), which, unlike literary fragments, have received relatively less attention in the previous research. The papers included presentations of fragmentology projects, databases, editions as well as analyses of specific archival collections and documents.
