Study of activity of DNase I immobilized on magnetic cellulose
Original language description
In our study we concentrated on degradation on both linear, chromosomal and circular plasmid DNAs using immobilized DNase I. A magnetic cellulose support used for immobilization simplifies particle separation from the sample after the reaction. The enzyme was coupled to the particles via the cyanuric chloride method. The effect of DNase I, activated by different metal ions, on hydrolysis of both chromosomal and plasmid DNAs was studied. The activity of DNaseI was estimated from UV spectrophotometrical measurements and confirmed by agarose gel electrophoresis.
