A revised check-list of biting midges (Diptera, Ceratopogonidae) of the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Original language description

With the respect to the investigation of the family in last years, 38 species are added as new for the Czech Republic, 7 spp. are added as new for the historical territory of Bohemia and 5 spp. for the historical territory of Moravia. The taxonomic status of 14 taxa has been corrected. The actual nomenclature is applied and a review of nomenclatural changes is included. Species of the genera Nilobezzia Kieffer, 1921, Neurohelea, Kieffer, 1925 and subgenera Lepidohelea Kieffer, 1917 and Panhelea Remm, 1980 completed the recent check-list of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. A new revised list includes 195 taxa of the family Ceratopogonidae for the Czech Republic and 133 taxa for Slovakia are compiled.

S ohladom na vyskum celade Ceratopogonidae v poslednych rokoch, 38 druhov bolo prvykrat zaznamenanych na uzemi Ceskej republiky, 5 druhov na historickom uzemi Moravy a 7 druhov na historickom uzemi Ciech. taxonomicky status 14 druhov bol opraveny vzhladom k recentnej nomenklature. Rody Nilobezzia a Neuroehelea a podrody Lepidohelea a Panhelea doplnaju poslednu verziu zoznamu druhov. Sucasny check-list zahrna 195 druhov celade Ceratopogonidae na uzemi CR a 133 druhov z uzemia Slovenska.
