Novel Supramolecular Hosts Based on Linear and Cyclic Oligomers of Glycoluril
Original language description
We report here on supramolecular objects containing glycoluril units and functioning as host molecules. The present paper contains a detailed discussion on the synthetic approaches leading to methylene bridged glycoluril oligomers, as well as a description of their supramolecular properties. We also discuss the recently obtained macrocycle, bambus[6]uril, and its affinity towards anions.
