Simultaneous determination of metal traces using SPE preconcentration on Amberlite XAD-7 by ICP-MS in environmental water and sample ecotoxicology assessment.
Original language description
This study has been focused on the determination of nine trace elements Be-9, V-51, Co-59, Ni-60, Y-89, led, (208)pb, Th-232 and U-238 by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) in natural waters and water samples after mining and processing of uranium. An ICP-MS spectrometer Agilent 7500ce, with a plasma generator of 27.12 MHz, power output of 1500 W and concentric nebulizer MicroMist (TM) with a cooled Scott chamber was used. The nonspectral interferences were eliminated by using a solution of internal standards Li-6 for Be-9, Sc-45 (V-51), Ge-72 (Co-59, Ni-60, (89)y), Rh-103 (Cd-111), Bi-209 ((208)pb, Th-232, U-238) The spectral interferences were eliminated by using the Helium collision cell during measurement. Monitored interfering elements were K+, Na+, NH4+ Ca2+, Mg2+, Al3+, Fe3+ and Cl-, HCO3-, SO42-, PO43-. For the preconcentration polymeric sorbent Amberlite XAD-7 was used.
