The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of plasma treatment on the polyamide-6 foils.The effect of DCSBD treatment on adhesion properties was quantified by surface energy measurement. The evaluation of surface modification as a function of treatment time and measurement of ageing effect were also done. The surface characteristics were analysed by FTIR measurements and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). To compare effectiveness and expediency of DCSBD also the industrial corona for polyamide-6 surface treatment was used.
