Forerunners of the New Epoch in lithic chipped industries of the Moravian Young Eneolithic
Original language description
The young Eneolithic in Moravia and Czech Silesia is represented by three main identities - the Jevišovice culture in the southwest, the Bošáca culture in the southeast and the Globular Amphorae culture in northern parts. In general, lithic assemblages of all three units follow chipping tradition of earlier periods. As raw materials there were used local cherts and siliceous weathering products of serpentinites (Jevišovice culture), radiolarites (Bošáca culture) and erratic flints (Globulra Amphora culture).
