Lithic Chipped Industry of the Young Eneolithic in Moravia and Czech Silesia
Original language description
The monographic study based on all available lithic evidences presented in the Catalogue. It gives the over-all characteristics of chipped stone industrie of the cultural identities of period of the Young Eneolithic in Moravia (the Jevišovice nad Bošáca)and Czech Silesia (the Globular Amphorae). A brief intrusion of the Bošáca culture into terrories of east Bohemia (Obědovice) has been also taken into account. In general, lithic materials of the period in question indicate continuation of Early nad Middle Eneolithic chipping traditions. Howewer, there can be observed the first signs of the changes in management of stone material which would become emblematic for the Late Eneolithic. The most significant element of these changes is increasing use of local rocks and decreasing importance of imported raw materials.
