EUROPEAN DIMENSION IN EDUCATION OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS
Original language description
Europe as a space without economic borders is also intended to be the space without culture and educational barriers. Academic mobility is supported by a number of special programs, e.g. CEEPUS and SOCRATES-ERASMUS. These programs enable not just obtaining of new experiences and developing personal skills of students and teachers, but also a research centred on European dimension in education. During last years the new models of improving of education for 21st century (according to the White Book and the Green Book, witch emphasize the professionalization of the teachers preparation) are tested by action research at European universities. It is proving, that professionality of a teacher for a basic school must be based on range of competences, especially on the skill of reflection and critical thinking.
