    Experiments Supporting IBSE within PROFILES

    This chapter presents our research results of the implementation of experiments in inquiry-based science education (IBSE). IBSE is educational method often based on experimentation. Experiments have different roles and characteristics in each of the fourlevels of IBSE. The presented examples of experiments demonstrate these characteristics at each of the IBSE levels and principles for applying experiments created within by the European project PROFILES.
