Original language description
A lively debate is currently underway in the Czech Republic on the introduction of the amended Act on Teaching Staff, due to take effect as of 1/1/2015. The initial, qualitative, section of the research analyses themes such as the general demands placedupon those in the teaching profession; educational qualifications and professional competence. The second section employs a questionnaire to determine the extent to which teachers of Russian language as second foreign language currently working at the second level of primary schools and grammar schools fulfil these criteria.
