Development of Intercultural Communicative Competence in Writing in English
Original language description
Developing intercultural communicative competence represents the aim of the contemporary foreign language teaching and learning processes. Achieving this aim is considered to be highly challenging in practice, as the concept of intercultural communicative competence is complex and individualised. Evaluation of intercultural communicative competence development is hence as individualised as the concept itself. The presented paper introduces research outcomes resulting from an analysis, in which intercultural communicative competence development manifestations were examined in terms of individual progress norm. The analysis was carried out within the research dealing with intercultural communicative competence development manifestations in writing in English at lower-secondary school.Developing intercultural communicative competence represents the aim of the contemporary foreign language teaching and learning processes.
