Two actual questions about nationality in national sport teams
Original language description
Aim of the article is to describe issues related to nationality and multiculturalism in sport. Crucial is the primary historical analysis and the establishment of the nations in history and also description of important terms nation and state. In the early twentieth century when the concept of the nation-state was created, these two concepts started to be arbitrarily confused. These terms are afterwards confronted with the world of contemporary international sport where we elaborate on a question whether the individual representation teams should be called national teams or state teams. Each case is based on examples, how important role nationality in sports plays and how important it is and when athletes are representing only certain territory in the?international? competition. In the second follow-up part we try to map twentieth century and the issues of multiculturalism in society, especially after blending of cultures, their coexistence and a big migration of people in the twentie
