Count Franz Karl Wratislav von Mitrovitz (1679-1750) was a member of ancient Bohemian Noble family, who spent almost entire his career in the diplomatic service of Emperor Charles VI. The Russian Period of his diplomatic service is particularly interesting, because he was the first permanent imperial ambassador in Russia. One of his primary tasks was to built completely new embassy.
