Experimental plan for preparation of UV curable inkjet ink
Original language description
Design of experiment methods were developed to analyze complex problems influenced by numerous factors. The intentionis to gain maximum information with minimum amount of experimental work. Employing statistical methods the compact experiment plan can bedesigned and evaluated. System response can be mathematicaly modeled and optimized acording to set criteria. Gained information includes factor relevancy, factor interactions, corelation of system responses etc. Acording to plan type it may be additionaly extended with more experiments to describe the real system more precisely. The most common UV curable ink chemistry is based on acrylate monomers and oligomers cured by radical photopolymerization. Alkoxylated difunctional and monofunctional monomersand low viscosity hyperbranched polyester acrylate oligomer were used as components of the pigment preparation and UV curable inkjet ink.
