The twelfth Seminar on new trends in research of energetic materials was a world meeting of young people and university teachers working in the fields of teaching, research, development, processing, analyzing and application of all kinds of energetic materials. This meeting was systematically focused on the topics of ?From Synthesis to Performance?. It was attended by 196 participants from 27 countries who have presented 31 lectures and 71 posters. Contributions presented on this meeting have been abstracted by Chemical Abstracts. It has to be pointed out that a relatively high number of active participants were Germany, and then Poland and Russian experts from significant scientific-research centres of the respective countries. The prestige of this Seminar was strongly supported by the presence of renown experts (prof. Klapoetke, prof. Politzer and others).
