    In this contribution, the validity of the presented filtration equation for the cake filtration from viscoelastic liquids is examined experimentally for the constant pressure filtration. In the filtration experiments, the suspensions of polystyrene and diatomite particles in aqueous polymer solutions of different measure of pseudoplasticity and elasticity were filtered on a laboratory filter and on a pilot frame filter press.
