Intramolecularly Coordinated [{2,6-(Me(2)NCH(2))(2)C(6)H(3)}Sn(II)](+): A Strong sigma Donor for Pt(II).
Original language description
The synthesis of the unprecedented complex [Pt(LSn)(mý2-pyt)2Cl] (L=2,6-(Me2NCH2)2C6H3?), in which a Sn?N-coordinated stannylidenium (LSnII)+ fragment donates to a [Pt(pyt)2Cl]? anion, is reported. The natural-bond-orbital analysis revealed that the loneelectron pair of the stannylidenium (LSnII)+ fragment is shared by tin and platinum atoms and the charge of the Sn atom is +1.709.
