    To strengthen the customer relations when dealing with chemical products, it is necessary to develop a number of areas of cooperation and mutual harmonization of processes and activities between producers and manufacturers, or users of these products sothat it leads to their deeper interconnection, better competitiveness and higher effectiveness of production processes, distribution and utilization of the products. At first, the paper discusses individual areas of mutual cooperation, sharing information, creation of common concepts and procedures, and mutual adaptation of producers, distributors and processors in the entire value network. Next, it summarizes the outcomes of the quantitative research into the perception of the beneficial effect and theactual level of these attributes of the enterprise-customer interconnection from the point of view of managers in chemical production enterprises who come into contact with the customers and who participate in making offers and increasin
