    In this study, an easy approach for the catalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid (AA) was investigated using a pretreated pencil graphite electrode (PGE) by anodic stripping differential pulse voltammetry (ASDPV). The influence of pH, potential and accumulation time was examined and the optimum conditions were found as: supporting electrolyte Britton Robinson buffer solution pH 3.0; constant applied potential -0.2 V; accumulation time 300 s. At these conditions, the calibration curve of AA was obtained in the range of 1 x 10-8 - 2.5 x 10-6 M. The precision of the method was investigated by repeated measurements of the 0.1 ?M AA, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) was found to be 6.7%. The limit of detection was found to be 3 nM.
