The main goal of this study was to implement and optimize magnetic enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (MELISA) method for detection of specific antibodies against biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease (AD), specifically antibodies against beta amyloid (anti-A?). As the alternative to the traditional ELISA the surface of magnetic particles was used as solid support. In particular we focused on optimization of immunosorbent preparation and non-specific sorption minimalization. Finally, analyzed real samples confirmed the applicability of developed MELISA method.
